Richard holds degrees in both Pharmacology (King’s College, London) and Osteopathy (Oxford Brookes University). Orchard House Clinic is owned and run by Richard who has a keen interest in treating sports injuries and improving sports performance in a wide range of activities – everything from weightlifting and triathlon to gymnastics and equestrian sports. Richard is also a certified Movement & Mobility Coach so strives to teach his patients about efficiency of movement, posture and control, be they sports-people or not. This approach not only improves the speed of recovery but also helps prevent injury occurrence.



Stuart graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 1983 and has been at the forefront of the profession for many years. Latterly his interests have drifted towards veterinary as well as human osteopathy. Stuart has pioneered many of the techniques used in animal osteopathy and indeed spends a great deal of his time treating dogs and horses. Stuart runs very popular course in veterinary osteopathy, more information on this can be found here..



Danielle graduated with a Masters degree in Osteopathy from the London School of Osteopathy. She is passionate about the human body and how it works and is continually inspired by the way osteopathy helps patients return to a pain free state through manual treatment alone. Danielle looks at the body as a whole in order to understand the source of her patients’ pain and help them return to an optimal state of health.  Danielle has been a keen horse-rider from a very young age and is also a qualified animal osteopath with a previous degree in equine sciences.

Lucy is a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist.  She is founder of The Childrey Practice based here at Orchard House Clinic.  Lucy leads a small team of professional Associates, all highly qualified hypnotherapists specializing in helping children and adults with a variety of mental health issues. Lucy herself is a qualified nurse with over twenty years’ experience as a specialist nurse in London teaching hospitals.  This established practice is based on an excellent reputation in the local area.  All the Associates are members of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists and hold diplomas in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.  The methods used are effective and life enhancing, helping clients achieve positive change in areas such as anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, anger, phobias, pain, obsessive behaviour, confidence issues, weight gain, addictions, smoking cessation, sports & performance goals



Sarah has been a full time Sports Therapist since 2000. She trained with Active Associates in Birmingham, gaining a distinction in Sports and Clinical Massage Therapy. Shehas worked with many top teams and all levels of athletes from beginners to elite level.  She is currently in her 11th season working with Witney Rugby Football Club, is a registered Therapist with UK Athletics,  a Team Therapist with British Triathlon and also works with the Lotus F1 Team.



Pippa holds a BSc in Nutritional Therapy from the accredited course offered by the University of West London, she is a registered member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists and the regulatory body of Complementary and Natural Healthcare (CNHC). Pippa is motivated by an enormous enjoyment of good nutritious food, coupled with the knowledge of nutrition science, and can provide practical and professional advice to patients in their quest to achieve optimum health and in so doing, encourage them to thrive


Michael Baker

Michael was privileged to have studied with the distinguished Professor J.R. Worsley graduating from the College of Traditional Acupuncture, (CTA) in 1985 with Lic Ac in Five Element Acupuncture and his B. Ac in 1989. From 2005 to 2012 he was head of 1st year study and a senior clinical supervisor at CTA. Michael’s inspiration for Traditional Chinese Medicine began with two cultural study tours of China in 1978 and 1980. Over the 33 years since qualifying he has successfully built a close inspirational connection with his patients and students, and is happiest when sharing this knowledge with others. Read more HERE.
